If your answer to this question is the local church, think twice. Most churches refer rather than help Christians with their financial needs. You might get referred to a local food closet; a social service agency or to the State for welfare. The evangelical churches may also take up a love offering once a month and make it available to the Deacon Ministry, although the funds are quite limited and very few would be helped in a total economic collapse. On the other hand, if you are a Catholic you may get referred to one of their many agencies that help the poor, but they too would be unable to help in a total economic collapse especially when you consider that already many are being turned down or put on a lengthy waiting list. So who will help the Christian poor during a total economic collapse?

If the churches are incapable of feeding their poor during an economic collapse then the State will be the only one left standing to offer assistance. Unlike the churches who offer a message of hope with their assistance, one must ask, “What will the State offer or what will it expect?” In the First Century Rome offered bread and the circuses to the poor and what they expected in return was unfeigned allegiance to the emperor. They were told to simply burn a little incense and publicly acknowledge Caesar as god. To offer food and circuses was Rome’s way to control the masses so they would not do what we see beginning to happen today with the occupy movement and rioting in the streets of our inner cities. I am afraid the occupy movement will only force the hand of the government to exercise control over the masses by implementing its national health care system expediently and expanding its welfare rolls.

So we are forced to ask the question, “What would the State require from the Christian poor for the State’s assistance?” Maybe it will start with required secular psychological counseling and a prescription for psychotropic drugs to induce a level of control. Try taking away the drugs and see how they cry out to the State for help. We have seen this in almost every national disaster where the population is left alone without their psychotropic drugs. This was especially evident during Katrina. Then it could move on to something even more sinister like taking a mark (visible or invisible) to be registered in the national health care system prior to receiving any assistance from the State. When folks are hungry and lack the basic necessities of life it would become a small step for most to publicly acknowledge the world leader as a god. Especially if they can convince the entire world that we are all gods – god is in every man.

But let’s return to our original question; “Who will help the Christian poor during a total economic collapse?” Can we convince the local church to take a second look at how they manage their priorities? There are many questions that need to be asked: “Do we really need that new building project;” “Can we skip the remodeling;” and, how about the staff’s salaries; “are they above or below the medium income of their church members?” Perhaps what is needed is a line item for the Christian poor. It grieves my heart when a Christian in need of assistance is told by a pastor that he will only pray about it and not offer the needed assistance. But can we go further? Yes, I believe every believer in Christ can do his share by cutting back his own expenses to the absolute essentials. Doing so will enable him to put back money at the beginning of each week to be used for those Christians who are truly in need of basic necessities.

For the American Christian we may need to understand what our absolute essentials are so that we can cut back wherever necessary. Do I need two cars or will one do? Can I get by without my cell phone or does it replace my landline? How often do I eat out instead of cooking at home? How many sets of clothes do I need in the closet? Friends the list could go on further, but it is really up to every Christian to determine what his absolute essentials are. Unlike the example given to us by our government, we do not need any debt! To pay monthly finance charges on a debt that should have been settled long ago is incorrigible for a Christian who should not let any debt remain outstanding. The first step in becoming debt free is stop charging on credit unless you can settle the debt when it becomes due and of course I am talking about the full debt not just the minimum charge given to us by the credit card companies.

Finally, when the economic collapse arrives every Christian should be prepared to help his neighbor to the best of his ability and especially his Christian neighbor. Christians will need to network together by trading absolute essentials and by all means keeping them from going to the State. We will need to practice the spirit of hospitality and give to those who ask. Those with land will need to learn how to grow crops and store food for the winter. I can still remember my aunt putting in a garden every year and canning enough food for the entire family along with giving to those in the church who had a need. We may need to return to those days and do everything possible to keep the Christian poor from taking anything from the State. To do so will demonstrate true Christian love.

After doing considerable research on this prediction I find that my own Biblical convictions concerning the end time has not changed. Having said that, I am still amazed at the coincidences that have surfaced during my research, not to mention the many other calamities slated to happen in the year 2012. So what is the Christian to think? Should we be concerned about this exact date setting for the end of the world? I would answer emphatically no! Based on God’s Holy Word to us, Christ said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” (Mat. 24:36) But even this holy Word does not negate the fact that the whole world may be aware of the season, but still harden their heart toward the one true God who can save them from eternal damnation.

I am reminded of God’s Word that says, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” (Rom. 1:20) As the world draws closer to the end even the pagan will question what is clearly seen. Most of the known world is concerned about global warming and climate change. There is a real fear of the increase in wicked weather and the predictions of massive earthquakes. Learned men from both camps question the possibility of a new world order and the impending slavery of civilization. Then they have heard the prophets, I being one of them, who have written about God’s Final Warning, because the hour of His judgment has come. And on top of all that we now have these predictions about 2012 and the end of the world.

Any independent observer may dismiss all of this about 2012 as rubbish; however, what causes me to take notice are the unexplained coincidences between predictions of Nostradamus and Mayan Long Calendar produced by the Maya civilization (August 11, 3114 BC) and scheduled to end on December 21, 2012. The newly discovered book of Nostradamus was found in an Italian public library in Rome, Italy. The book contains many watercolor images that seem to be showing some of his many predictions. The last seven images are the most important in the entire book because they predict how and when the world is going to end.

One thing that must be understood before trying to decode his message is that during that time they used a thirteen sign zodiac as opposed to our modern twelve sign zodiac. The thirteenth sign was Ophiuchus, which is Greek for serpent-holder. The number thirteen is regarded as the unluckiest number and the snake is associated with evil. This sign is located between the signs of Sagittarius and Scorpio.

The reason Ophiuchus is so important is that it crosses the line of the Celestial Equator. The Celestial Equator passes directly through a dark hole in the sky, which is the center of the Milky Way galaxy, also known as the dark rift. The point of Sagittarius’ arrow point directly at the center of the galaxy and when a line is drawn from the tip of the arrow to the end of Scorpio’s tail it passes directly through the center of the galaxy. The line from the arrow to the tail makes a cross with the Celestial Equator and creates the “Divine Cross”. This cross is especially important since it never moves in the sky. On Earth we see another cross, which is made from the intersection of the orbits of the Equinox and the Solstice. This cross is known as the “Terrestrial Cross” and is important because it provides the foundation for the prediction of the end of the world.

One drawing shows the wheel of time and below it three eclipses and then below those one large lunar eclipse. A span of time that includes three solar eclipses and one lunar eclipse is between the years of 1992 and 2012. This is interesting because it predicts that time will end in the year 2012 and the Mayan calendar also ends in 2012 on the date of December 21. The date of December 21, 2012 coincides exactly with the alignment of the crosses in the sky and when the sun rises directly in that alignment. This alignment only happens once every 13,000 years. The last picture in the series shows a wheel with no spokes, which implies the end of time, which is of course, on December 21, 2012.

Can it be a coincidence when different civilizations on different continents in different times came up with the same date? Then add to this other recent predictions by scientists for the same year (2012) such as Solar Flares will reach their peak, a Volcano Catastrophe in Yellowstone, a Galactic Alignment for the first time in 26,000 years. And if that’s not enough there is a clear present danger of renegade nations acquiring the nuclear bomb, an economic collapse, and a pandemic. I keep coming back to Holy Scripture that says, man will have no excuse on the Day of Judgment, for even the pagan is raising his voice along with the Christian community to sound the warning. Is not God just? Has He not always sounded the warning through His prophets? Has He not even spoken through the pagan in dreams and visions when He wanted to warn His people? (See Gen. 41:1ff; Dan. 2:1ff) Has God not also used the pagan to proclaim His will? (See II Chronicles 36:22-23; Isaiah 44:28ff). Although God will use His holy prophets to properly interpret the signs and what the pagans are trying to proclaim, He will always send the warning.

There is no accident that both pagan and Christian alike are sounding the warning. There is no accident when asked; most people believe that we are living in the last days.

I believe most Christians are fed up with the two party system. Both Republicans and Democrats have promised the typical things that politicians have always promised. When they are up for election they promise health care and assistance for the widow, the orphan, and the impoverished, protection for the consumer, the factory worker and businesses who fear outsourcing, better education for our children, and higher wages for teachers, and lower taxes. Yet during their term business is back to usual passing bills, creating new legislation, squabbling with one another, always blaming the other party and rarely read the new legislation that promises to increase slavery for the masses.

Unfortunately there is no help from the media who stoke the fires of contention, pointing out faults with one party while embracing the other as the true savior of humanity. There is no wonder that the masses are confused when they are asked to cast their ballot for another four years of slavery. Other parties have come and gone over the years promising to bring change but never capturing enough democratic votes to make a difference. So things continue unabated while some dream of starting another party or giving new voice to one that’s already there in the mainstream.

Then there are those who think that we should start a new movement throwing out both parties and putting forth fresh ideas, new blood, and a person who has been separated from the establishment. They eagerly look for one who will promise to break off the shackles of bondage and set free the masses. Yet most will look with disdain on such an idea and return to one of the two parties as a dog returns to its vomit. So what happens to the Christian who is caught in this web of deceit and blinded by the world’s rhetoric? What are Christians to do when many of our churches no longer preach against sin, hold their people accountable, and seek to open their eyes to worldliness and the deceptions of our age?

I have sounded the final warning in my book and in the pulpits of this country for over three years now and for the most part the message has seem to have fallen on deaf ears. It appears that many have enjoyed their slavery more than the freedom offered to them by the risen Christ, because they are unwilling to let go of their favorite doctrine or theological perspective of the end times. They are unwilling to let go of their trust in the government to take care of their every need, they are unwilling to let go of their dependence on the world’s professional counselors, they are unwilling to let go of their dependence on their drugs instead of trusting in God alone for their providential care. Most are unwilling to actually die to self and pick up the Cross of Jesus Christ and follow Him. So what can the Christian do?

What is needed dear friends is true revival in our land that will reach around the entire world as a burning inferno that will consume the dross, purify the heart, and set the captives free. And the only way that this revival is possible is making a commitment to preach only the gospel truth in its entirety. I call on all preachers of the gospel to drop those meaningless illustrations, time consuming stories that have no relevance, and bury those time pieces that limit the proclamation of the gospel. Furthermore, I implore every preacher to cast off his notes, open his Bible, and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through him with power to cause his listeners to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. When the gospel is faithfully preached in the pulpits of America then the fire will be lit.

As revival takes root in America you will see the power of the Holy Spirit manifested in various gifts. There will be a turning away from Babylonish administration, and once again a total dependence on Jesus Christ alone. In a true revival everyone will preach the gospel, hold one another accountable, and prophesy the dangers of worldliness and the deception of this age. True revival will lead the church to help the homeless, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and counsel the depressed. Finally, true revival will see a fanaticism for the visible return of Jesus Christ in Glory to rapture His Church and usher in the new age.

“Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.” (Revelation 19:5)

After reading the full text of Netanyahu’s foreign policy speech I was greatly encouraged that a true foundation has been laid for a cessation of hostility and the possibility of peace if all parties concerned follow the conditions set forth. As a Christian who has prayed for years that the state of Israel would have a lasting peace, I ask myself why Christians from around the world are not united in an effort to help Israel achieve a lasting peace in their own homeland. Therefore, I personally call on all Christians in every land (including Palestine) to pray first to our Messiah, Jesus Christ, and also to put pressure on their respective leaders through peaceful demonstrations to support Israel in the peace plan outlined by Mr. Netanyahu.

It is time for all Arab countries including Palestine to recognize Israel’s right to exist in their own homeland – “they must recognize the right of the Jewish People to its own state in its historical homeland.” It’s time for Christian brothers and sisters in both Israel and Palestine to join hands together in a united effort to work for peace. Let them be the first in setting an example on how to live together side by side in peace. Let them both proclaim Yeshua as the true Prince of peace. Let the Palestinian Christians seek to encourage their Palestinian neighbors to stop fearing the State of Israel, but rather to lead them to lay down their weapons of war through a process of demilitarization.

I also call on both Palestinian and Israelite Christians to join hands together and help the Palestinian State to accept all Palestinian refugees back inside the borders of the their new State. Moreover, Christians should set an example of humanitarian aid and assistance to every Palestinian refugee; to help each refugee to find their place back into a productive society. Let Christians from around the world become a beacon of hope and true messengers of hope from their Messiah, Jesus Christ.

I must admit I don’t understand the thorny issue concerning “Israelite Settlements” in the West Bank. Did not each of the Israelite Settlements purchase the land from its owners? And if the answer is yes and if the settlement is inside the border of the new state of Palestine and if taxes are paid to the Palestinian authority then why is there a problem – treat them as immigrants. And if the answer is no, then a price must be agreed upon to pay the Palestinian authority for the land built upon, if they are willing to sell the land.

Finally, the true road map to peace has always been reconciliation. God wanted peace with fallen humanity so He sent His Son as the Prince of Peace. His job was not to condemn but to bring about peace between sinful man and a Holy God. Only by Christ shedding His blood on the cross could man receive forgiveness for his sins. And only through His resurrection from the dead could man be born again into a new transformed life and capable of having a relationship with God. Our peace was not negotiated by given up a piece of who we are; our peace was obtained by giving up everything for the promise of a better future. I will continue to pray that the Jewish People of the Nation of Israel find true lasting peace by accepting their true Messiah, Jesus Christ.
